We created Affina Haus from a belief that beautiful homes are built through thoughtful layers. To us, hardware is never an afterthought. It is the finishing touch that draws a room together.

When designing a home, most people start with furniture, layout and colour. We think the real magic is in the quieter details. The weight of a handle in your hand, the way light catches a brushed brass surface, the feel of hand stitched leather under your fingertips. These subtle elements are what transform a house into one that feels lived in, loved, and effortlessly cohesive.

Our pieces are thoughtfully designed in Australia with a focus on craftsmanship, tactility and sculptural form. Expertly crafted from enduring natural materials including solid brass, genuine leather and stone, chosen for their durability, authenticity and ability to age beautifully over time.

Affina Haus was founded by Emily, a creative director turned home renovator. Born in Italy and raised in Australia, she grew up surrounded by beautiful architecture, enduring materials and thoughtful design that tells a story.

After years leading brand campaigns, immersive experiences and large scale events across Australia and the United States, Emily saw firsthand how considered design decisions shape the way people experience a space and its perceived value. It was during her own renovation that she discovered a lasting passion for creating homes, falling in love with the permanence of designing spaces where the smallest details influence how people feel, move and connect.

Thoughtful design choices didn't just transform how Emily lived, they transformed the value of her home. That gave her the confidence to leave corporate and build Affina Haus.

Today, Affina Haus exists to help others create homes that feel cohesive, considered and built to last, empowering homeowners to make confident design decisions that add lasting value to the places they love.
